As I have grown up as an international student in countries of South & South-East Asia, I have not had as many opportunities as most students living in Western countries do to gain paid-work experience. Living in 3rd world countries however, has provided me with a lot of access to gain experience in volunteer work. I aim to greatly build my part-time work experience for my CV in order to ensure better job placement in the future.

Reflection: As with any other resume, mine reflects my educational background, previous work experience, volunteer work experience, references, and my capabilities. Although I do not have ample experience in the paid-work force, I have a good amount of experience in volunteer work, which I believe is just as important; especially in the field of work that I wish to go into. However, through both my experiences I have found that my volunteer experiences have taught me more valuable lessons in team work, and have been, on the whole, more fulfilling as generally the work done in volunteer work is to assist a cause/organisation that support those in need.
